Job summary

Moore Australia is offering a six-week Vacationer Program in Melbourne (VIC/TAS). The program runs January 2027 and features two three-week rotations across Audit and Assurance, Business Advisory, Outsourced Finance, Tax, Corporate Finance, and Governance and Risk Advisory.

It includes training, client exposure and mentorship, with potential progression to Moore's Graduate Program for high performers. Participants must be in the penultimate or final year of an accounting, commerce, or business

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final year in accounting, commerce or business-related degree.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Collaborative team player willing to participate.
• Motivated to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete two rotations across divisions for six weeks (two three-week rotations).
• Engage in genuine client work, training and mentorship across divisions.
• Shadow team members across all levels and divisions.
• Participate in firm events and Networking opportunities.

Job description

The Moore Australia (VIC/TAS) Vacationer Program gives you real, hands-on experience across two rotations in one professional services firm - helping you discover where you thrive before you graduate. You’ll be involved in genuine client work, training, and mentorship across two divisions of the firm.

Commencing January 2027, this paid, six-week program is structured as two three-week rotations, giving you a genuine taste of two different divisions rather than just one, a deliberate point of difference in how we've built this program, designed to help you explore your options before committing to a graduate direction.

The program is based in our Melbourne office, with the following rotation pairings available:

• Audit and Assurance
• Business Advisory
• Outsourced Finance
• Tax
• Corporate Finance
• Governance and Risk Advisory

The Program

Our six-week, two-rotation program gives you the opportunity to work on meaningful client matters, participate in training sessions, and shadow team members across all levels — in every division, not just some.

The program will provide:

• Real, hands-on exposure to client work across two divisions — not just administrative tasks.
• A first look into the professional services environment
• A chance to start building your professional network
• Involvement in our regular firm social events
• A clear pathway to a Graduate role: high-performing vacationers may be considered for Moore's Graduate Program

This is a paid program. Our goal is to give you a memorable, practical experience that helps you decide on your next career move, and, for many of our vacationers, that next move is joining us as a Graduate.
