Job summary

SunPork Group seeks a motivated Procurement Officer to support day-to-day procurement administration, inventory management and transport coordination for raw materials across feed mills in the Toowoomba region.

You will work with the National Commodity Procurement Manager and gain hands‑on exposure to commodity procurement and the broader agricultural supply chain, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Interest in agriculture, commodities, procurement or supply chain operations.
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and data accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with internal teams and external suppliers.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the procurement of bulk and packaged raw materials across SunPork feed mills.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, commodity contracts, vendor declarations and associated procurement documentation.
• Assist with feed order processing, freight administration and end‑of‑month reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate inventory, stock control and pricing records across feed mills and storage facilities.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day raw material transport bookings with logistics teams and freight suppliers.
• Prepare procurement information, reports and data to support operational and purchasing decisions.
• Work collaboratively with feed mill managers, nutritionists, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with improving procurement processes, reporting tools and standard operating procedures.
