Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is hiring a Dietitian Early Career (AHP1) for a part-time role at Lyell McEwin Hospital, Adelaide. What You'll Be Doing

Based at Lyell McEwin Hospital and working part time, this contract position (concluding 31 January 2028) will see you delivering evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services to a diverse patient population across acute and community settings. Your day-to-day will include:

• Conducting nutritional assessments and developing individualised care plans under appropriate supervision
• Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes across clinical areas
• Providing dietary counselling and education to patients and their families or carers
• Contributing to quality improvement activities and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with SA Health standards

What You'll Bring

• A Bachelor or Master of Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent), with eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia
• Foundational clinical skills in nutritional assessment and care planning developed through placement or early practice
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully with patients from varied cultural and social backgrounds
• Familiarity with, or a willingness to learn, SA Health clinical systems and documentation requirements
• A collaborative approach and openness to supervision and professional feedback
• Current or ability to obtain a satisfactory Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check

To be eligible for this position, you must have anAppropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Australia
