Health Workforce in Rockhampton, QLD, is offering a New Graduate Occupational Therapist role within our structured graduate program. You will provide OT services across diverse community settings with a supportive team and strong supervision to help you transition from university to clinical practice.

This permanent full-time position welcomes new graduates and offers comprehensive mentoring, development opportunities, and a broad caseload across disability, health, education, and community

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or graduate prior to commencement.
• Eligible for registration with AHPRA.
• Interest in community-based allied health and lifespan.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to visit communities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Occupational Therapy services across community settings.
• Work with a diverse caseload across disability, health, education and community sectors.
• Deliver assessments, therapy interventions, reports and personalised support plans.
• Develop relationships with participants, families, carers, schools and health professionals.
• Collaborate with Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and other allied health professionals.
• Participate in a structured new graduate program with supervision and mentoring.
• Contribute to community engagement initiatives and partnerships to improve access to services.
• Build professional networks and learn from experienced clinicians.
