Job summary

My Future Therapy is seeking a Graduate or New Occupational Therapist (Speech Pathologist & Physiotherapist) to join our NDIS Community Team on a contract basis in Sydney, NSW. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver assessments, therapies and group programs, and maintain detailed client records.

The role requires strong clinical skills, APHRA registration, and willingness to learn; training is provided and supervision is available for new graduates and overseas applicants.

Qualifications

• New Graduate Occupational Therapist; graduating end of 2026; training provided.
• Minimum 1 year experience for experienced OT, SLP and PT (working independently).
• Overseas OT applicants welcome; training and job offer available.

My Future Therapy is seeking a Graduate or New Occupational Therapist (Speech Pathologist & Physiotherapist) to join our NDIS Community Team on a Contract Basis Located in Sydney NSW (South-West Region and North-West Region). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing healthcare provider, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our Clients.

What you'll be doing

Work under directives of our Executive Management Team

Facilitate a range of group and individual leisure and lifestyle programs

Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for Patients and the Multidisciplinary Team

Collaborate with Patients, Families and other Healthcare Professionals to ensure a honest approach to care

Monitor Client progress, document clinical notes and adjust therapy plans as needed

Maintaining detailed Client records and documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards

Continuously updating your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care

What we're looking for

New Graduate Occupational Therapist - Graduating at the end of 2026 Training will be provided for students, experience will not be not necessary.

Minimum 1 Year Experience for Experienced Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist and Physiotherapist (Looking for fully qualified and experienced Therapist to work independently with no supervision, You are your own boss!)

Occupational Therapist - Allied Health Assistant or Students, No Experience? No Worries! Paid Training and Career will be offered to the right candidate $40PH

Overseas Occupational Therapist and those who require Supervision Practice are welcome to apply - Training and Job offer will be offered to the right candidate $40PH

Previous Experience and Exposure within NDIS, HCP, Hospital, Clinic, Aged Care or Pediatrics preferred

Degree and APHRA Registration associated with your relevant job

Strong clinical skills, including experience conducting assessments and delivering therapy interventions

Experience using HALAXY Software

Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of clients with communication and swallowing difficulties

Can speak Mandarin, Cantonese or Vietnamese is a bonus but not essential, you will need to command a good level of English

NSW driver's license, First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check and a NDIS Workers Screening Check

Relevant Insurances for Occupational Therapy + Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy

Senior First Aid Certificate

Must submit to a Australian Federal Police Check

Strong Clinical Reasoning and Problem-Solving Skills

Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
