Job summary

Mercy Health invites applications for a part-time, fixed-term Occupational Therapist. The role covers rotations across Wyndham and Hobson's Bay, including bed-based, residential and community settings, with a focus on recovery-oriented, client-centered care.

Commencing 08 Feb 2027, 0.8 EFT, 64 hours per fortnight, with a thorough orientation, paid study days, structured training, and clinical supervision. Eligible applicants must have Australian working rights and current/pending registration

Qualifications

Passionate about mental health, advocacy and recovery.
Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality client-focused Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions.
Work in a holistic, recovery oriented, strengths based and culturally sensitive approach.
Rotate across Wyndham and Hobson's Bay in bed-based, residential/rehabilitation and community settings.
