Job summary

Morson Edge seeks a Graduate Engineer or Construction Management Graduate for a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project near Canberra. You will support the construction phase, work with Project Engineers and Site Management on construction, quality, documentation and commissioning.

Join a hands-on team on a large-scale energy project, gaining exposure to project reporting, drawing review and quality records, with a 12-month contract on-site near Canberra.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or similar) or Construction Management is required.
• Previous construction or site experience is advantageous.
• Procore experience is highly regarded.
• Understanding of construction processes, quality documentation and project reporting.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Project Engineers with day-to-day construction activities and subcontractor coordination.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Preparing and maintaining ITPs, quality records and inspection documentation.
• Managing document control, RFIs, NCRs and project registers.
• Maintaining project documentation and reporting through Procore.
• Assisting with progress tracking, productivity reporting and programme updates.
• Attending site inspections, quality walk-downs and completion activities.
• Supporting compliance with site safety, quality and environmental requirements.
