Fragomen in Sydney is inviting applications for its February 2027 Graduate Intake to launch a career in corporate immigration law. Under supervision you will manage a caseload, draft documents, and file visa applications while working closely with experienced immigration lawyers.

The program emphasizes targeted training, CPD, and the chance to learn through hands-on client work in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a law degree and admitted or near admission to legal practice.
• Interest in immigration or administrative law is preferred but not required.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply legal processes in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing visa applications under supervision.
• Draft legal documents and client correspondence for matters.
• Liaise with clients and participate in client interviews as needed.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and filings.

Looking ahead to 2027? Join our Graduate Intake in February 2027 and launch your immigration law career with confidence!

Location: Sydney

As a Graduate, you will receive comprehensive training to set you up for a career in corporate immigration law. Under supervision, you will have ownership of a caseload and be expected to proactively manage workflows with direct client contact. Working closely with our team of immigration lawyers, you will help to prepare and file visa applications that meet the legal requirements. You will draft legal documents and client correspondence, as well as being the day-to-day liaison with clients, assisting in client interviews, and completing legal research. The role sits in a fast-paced, yet supportive and highly collaborative environment. You will be supported by administrative staff, as well as experienced lawyers committed to your learning and development. The ideal candidate would be a recent law graduate, about to be admitted, or recently admitted to legal practice.

While applicants with a demonstrated interest in Immigration or Administrative law are preferred, we welcome applications from talented law graduates just starting to learn about this practice area that we love!
