Job summary

PERSOL, a global workforce solutions provider, is seeking a Graduate Finance Assistant (Korean-speaking) to join the Sydney team. This entry‑level role suits accounting or finance graduates or those with early accounts experience who want to start their career in a multinational environment.

You will work with the Finance & Accounting team on day‑to‑day activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, month‑end, budgeting support, GST work, and ad‑hoc reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in accounts, finance or administration is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Confidence working with numbers and financial data.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional-level Korean and English communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support general accounting processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Process invoices, payments and employee expense claims.
• Perform credit card and account reconciliations.
• Support intercompany and internal recharge processes.
• Maintain accurate financial and transactional records.
• Assist with vendor setup and supplier/banking information.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities.
• Assist with GST reconciliations and audit-related requirements.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets and ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Finance team.

About the Opportunity

Working closely with the Finance & Accounting team, you will support a broad range of day-to-day accounting activities, including:

About You

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and keen to build a career in finance.

You will ideally have:

• A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline

• Recent graduates are welcome to apply

• Previous experience in accounts, finance or administration is advantageous but not essential

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Confidence working with numbers and financial data

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
