Xodus Group in Australia is offering a Graduate Environment Consultant role within its Environment and Sustainability division. The position suits recent graduates eager for a client-facing, technical role across oil & gas, LNG and renewables.

You will work with experienced mentors on environmental impact assessments, regulatory processes and reporting, gaining exposure to diverse energy projects and the chance to build technical expertise from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, marine science, biology, environmental engineering, or related field.
• Strong technical writing and science communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of environmental impact assessments, environmental studies, technical analyses and regulatory approval processes across a diverse range of energy projects.
• Undertaking environmental research, data collection, analysis and interpretation to inform project assessments and client advice.
• Preparing high-quality technical reports, impact assessment documentation and other project deliverables to a professional standard.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver work across sectors including offshore energy, renewables, carbon capture and storage and decommissioning.
• Engaging with clients, regulators and specialist stakeholders under the guidance of senior consultants to support successful project outcomes.
• Contributing to project planning, coordination and delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Supporting the preparation of proposals, fee estimates and tender submissions to help secure future work.
• Building technical knowledge of environmental regulations, industry best practice and emerging energy-sector challenges and opportunities.
• Assist in identifying environmental risks, opportunities and innovative solutions that support both project objectives and environmental stewardship.
