Eptec is seeking a recent graduate to join its Defence Solutions team as a Graduate Engineer in Osbourne, SA. The role offers mentoring, training, and exposure to high-profile defence programs, with a permanent full-time position and career progression opportunities.

You will work on project coordination, planning, risk management and performance, supported by senior engineers and project managers. Applicants should have an engineering degree and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated with an engineering degree in Civil, Materials Science, Mechanical or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
• Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate project elements including QA/QC, logistics, reporting, compliance, subcontractor management, equipment control, and supplies.
• Support project management through administrative tasks such as managing project briefs, schedules, action logs, budgets, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare project documentation including project plans, Gantt charts, and specifications for minor projects.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality requirements and align with best practices and company standards.
• Assist with risk analysis and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Undertake job safety analysis for unfamiliar or non-routine work processes.
• Prepare cost estimates and specifications to support procurement processes.
• Contribute to achieving key project performance baselines and objectives.
• Establish and monitor project controls to ensure delivery within quality, time, and cost constraints.
