Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• Construction White Card.
• Prior experience on large-scale infrastructure projects in Australia is desirable but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned tasks on Terra Verde project in line with requirements, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support engineering design and approval processes for temporary works.
• Perform data analysis and routine engineering tasks; assist in complex technical assignments.
• Review and interpret design plans and contribute to constructability reviews.
• Assist in procurement of materials and services in accordance with specifications and environmental rules.
• Identify and report non-conformances and support their resolution.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintain site visibility.
• Promote risk management and a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Terra Verde policies.

The Project

Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia. The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.

Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.

About the Role

The Graduate will support engineering and construction activities while progressively developing technical and project management skills. This role offers exposure to both on-site and office-based work across the Terra Verde project, providing hands-on experience in project planning, execution, and reporting. It is designed to build a strong foundation for a long-term career in the infrastructure and construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
