Job summary

Hall Contracting in Australia is seeking two Graduate Engineers to progress to site engineering roles. One graduate will support Pacific Islands projects while the other focuses on Australian operations.

During mobilisation, both graduates will be based in Hall’s Sunshine Coast office, working with experienced engineers to prepare projects for delivery. As projects mobilise, graduates will transition into site-based roles on a FIFO basis, gaining exposure to marine, dredging, and civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years' post-graduate experience.
• Australian working rights (no sponsorships offered).
• Willingness to travel and FIFO across Australia or the Pacific.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations, technical assessments, and preparation of project reports.
• Support project planning and mobilisation activities prior to construction.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations and assist with procurement of project materials and services.
• Participate in site inspections, project meetings, and project coordination.
• Assist with quality assurance documentation and compliance processes.
• Help maintain project permits, drawings, specifications, and document control systems.
• Support project teams with day-to-day engineering and administrative requirements.

About the Role

Hall Contracting is seeking two Graduate Engineers to progress their career towards a site engineer.

One graduate will be based across Pacific Islands projects, while the other will primarily support Australian operations. During project mobilisation and planning phases, both graduates will be based in Hall’s Sunshine Coast office, working alongside experienced engineers and project teams to prepare projects for successful delivery.

As projects mobilise, graduates will transition into site-based roles on a FIFO basis, providing valuable exposure to real-world project delivery across marine, dredging, and civil infrastructure environments.

Ideal candidates will be based in Brisbane or Sunshine Coast.
