Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to help shape capabilities for Australian Government customers. You'll work in a multidisciplinary team focused on sustaining and introducing new capabilities for the Royal Australian Navy, including AUVs and rugged computing systems.

You’ll be supported from day one with a buddy, a mentor, structured on-the-job learning, and opportunities to collaborate across projects while you learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Final year or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics.
• No prior industry experience required; eagerness to learn.
• Australian citizen with ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers and project teams to understand operating needs and technical requirements.
• Supporting the design, integration and delivery of complex systems.
• Opportunity to develop into an Electrical Engineering Subject Matter Expert.
• Analyzing problems and helping evaluate solution options.
• Developing engineering documentation, models and technical artefacts.
• Participating in system reviews, testing and verification activities.
• Collaborating with software, hardware and project teams throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Applying systems engineering principles to deliver high-quality, secure and reliable outcomes.
