Job summary

AECOM in Brisbane is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the Resources and Industrial team. You will work with experienced engineers on mining, heavy industry and related projects, gaining exposure to power systems, instrumentation, control systems and emerging technologies.

You will be supported through structured learning, technical training and mentorship while building the skills needed for a successful engineering career.

Qualifications

• Final year or completed Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical and instrumentation projects across mining, industrial and transport sectors.
• Assist with the preparation of technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to project outcomes.
• Learn how engineering principles and standards are applied to develop safe, practical solutions.
• Participate in site visits, inspections and commissioning activities to gain practical experience.
• Contribute to project planning, coordination and technical tasks.
• Participate in project meetings to develop technical knowledge and professional skills.
