Qualifications

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit design and power systems.
• Proficiency with CAD, simulation software or circuit analysis tools.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Internships or university projects related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and testing of electrical and electronic systems and components.
• Conduct electrical calculations, simulations and analysis to support project deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings and reports in accordance with industry standards.
• Support the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations.
• Participate in site visits and inspections as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in electrical and electronic engineering within a dynamic, professional environment. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers on meaningful projects that contribute to our company's success and innovation in the electrical engineering sector. This role is based in Mackay QLD 4740 and offers the chance to develop practical skills whilst working on real-world engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting in the design, development and testing of electrical and electronic systems and components
• Conducting electrical calculations, simulations and analysis to support project deliverables
