The Department of Home Affairs offers a 10-month Graduate Development Program (GDP) designed to launch your career across national security, immigration and citizenship. You will rotate through three areas, starting as an APS4 with a clear path to APS5 on successful completion, supported by mentors and structured learning.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen or will be by 22 March 2027
• Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7+) or higher by 31 December 2027
• Eligible for Australian Government clearances (Suitability and Negative Vetting 1)

Responsibilities

• Undertake three rotations across Home Affairs and/or Australian Border Force
• Engage in structured learning and development with mentoring
• Build a career pathway within the Australian Public Service andDepartments
