Job summary

Marine & Civil Maintenance (MCM) is seeking a motivated Graduate or Early Career Technical Engineer to join its Sydney team. The role blends office work with hands‑on site investigations, across civil and marine infrastructure in Australia and the Pacific.

You will work with experienced engineers, gaining practical experience in structural investigations, concrete durability and corrosion, with mentoring and specialist training to support your development.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Civil or Materials structural discipline.
• Recent graduates with 1–3 years' experience encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; good documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to prepare technical notes.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical investigations and assessments of civil and marine structures.
• Conduct hands‑on site inspections and testing to assess structural condition.
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings and project documentation.
• Assist with engineering calculations, analysis and design work.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Support compliance, R&D and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel to project sites across Australia and the Pacific as required.
