Job summary

JCA Land Consultants in Wodonga is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to contribute to design, documentation and construction reviews for a variety of projects. You will engage across Residential, Industrial, and Commercial developments and support infrastructure initiatives in local government and transport sectors.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, with exposure to 12D and AutoCAD; strong communications and teamwork are essential in our collaborative, growth-oriented practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Exposure to 12D and AutoCAD software preferred.
• Knowledge of Local Authority Standards and QA processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

The Role

The Graduate positions will involve design, documentation, and construction review across a wide variety of projects, including:

· Residential, Industrial, and Commercial developments

· Local Government and Department of Transport infrastructure projects

· Water Authority assets and Residential Body Corporate developments

About You

To be successful in these roles, you will ideally have:

· A Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)

· Exposure to 12D (preferred) and AutoCAD software (preferred)

· Knowledge of Local Authority Standards – Councils, North East Water, and Department of Transport

· Understanding of Quality Assurance processes

· Strong Communication Skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
