Job summary

Natixis CIB Australia is seeking a Graduate/Trainee for the Sydney office to support the Acquisition and Strategic Finance (ASF) team in originating and underwriting debt financings. You will work with deal teams across the credit approval, documentation and funding stages, liaising with internal partners and to ensure smooth execution of transactions.

You will learn to review due diligence, build financial models, and prepare credit papers while contributing to syndication efforts and client

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling and LBO modeling capability.
• Experience building pitch books and financing structures for clients.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with issue identification and data-driven recommendations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to market changes.
• Attention to detail in internal systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist deal team in originating and executing debt financings from inception to funding.
• Coordinate with internal product partners through credit approval, funding and syndication.
• Review due diligence materials, financials, and models to assess credit quality and debt structures.
• Prepare credit papers covering company, industry, projections and risk mitigants.
• Monitor portfolio deal progress and respond to consent requests and reviews.
• Support loan syndicate distribution after origination and underwriting by ASF.
