Job summary

Costa Group is offering a permanent, full-time Graduate - Agronomy position in Emerald, Queensland. You will gain hands-on experience across crop production, irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease management, agronomic trials and continuous improvement within our Citrus operations.

Working with experienced agronomists and farm leaders, you will develop practical skills in data collection and crop forecasting, contribute to fruit quality and sustainable production, and build a long-term career

Qualifications

• Graduate with a degree in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Agribusiness, Ecology or related discipline.

Aboutthis position:

As a Graduate - Agronomy, you'll build experience across cropproduction, agronomic programs and technical field-based activities whiledeveloping a practical understanding of how high-performing citrus crops aregrown and managed.

One day you may be monitoring crop health, irrigation performance orpest management activities, while another may involve supporting field trials,analysing crop data or working alongside agronomists to evaluate productionoutcomes. This variety provides valuable exposure to the science anddecision-making that underpin successful horticultural production.

Aboutyou:

We're looking for graduates who are curious, analytical and motivated tounderstand how science and innovation contribute to successful crop production.You may have recently completed (or be in your final year of) a degree in:

• Agricultural Science
• Horticulture
• Agribusiness
• Ecology
• Or a related discipline
