Job summary

Chambers Russell Lawyers in the Gold Coast (Robina) seeks a talented Law Graduate to join our Queensland team. You will gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of strata matters while working closely with experienced lawyers and partners.

Starting with guided support, you will develop skills across litigation, dispute resolution and advisory work, with opportunities to gradually take on greater responsibility and manage your own matters as your capability grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws completed or near completion.
• Working towards admission in Queensland.
• Experience as paralegal, law clerk, or legal assistant.
• Good grasp of litigation processes; interest in dispute resolution and strata law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong time management and ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, with initiative, eager to learn, collaborative and team-focused.

About the role

We are looking for a talented Law Graduate to join our Queensland team in our Gold Coast office, located in Robina.

Our Queensland strata team has grown substantially, creating an exciting opportunity for a law graduate looking to commence their legal career in a supportive and high-performing environment.

Working closely with our experience lawyers and partners, you will gain hands on exposure to a broad range of strata matters and develop your skills across litigation, dispute resolution and advisory work. You will be supported to gradually take on greater responsibility and manage your own matters as your experience and capability develop.

This is an excellent opportunity to build strong foundations as a lawyer while working on quality matters within a growing national firm.

About You

• Completed, or are nearing completion of, a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent qualification.
• Working towards admission as a lawyer in Queensland.
• Previous experience working in a legal environment as a paralegal, law clerk, or legal assistant.
• A sound understanding of the litigation process and a genuine interest in developing your skills in dispute resolution and strata law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong time management and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• A proactive approach, strong initiative, willingness to learn and a collaborative, team-focussed mindset are essential.
