Job summary

Parkes Shire Council is seeking a Grader Operator in the Operations team to support road construction and maintenance across the Shire. You will operate a Grader and may assist with set out, traffic control and supervising on-site work under the direction of Works Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Current and maintained NSW Driver’s Licence.
• SafeWork NSW Construction induction (White Card).
• Demonstrated experience in the operation of mobile plant including, but not limited to Grader operation.
• Relevant experience in construction grading and supervising a work team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Grader for construction and maintenance of road infrastructure.
• Supervise site work and lead teams as required.
• Operate other mobile plant within the scope of training and capability.
• Assist with set out of works and traffic control.

Skills

Grader operation experience
