Job summary

Evolution Mining, Ernest Henry Operations, is seeking an experienced and safety‑focused Grader Operator to join the Production team. You’ll maintain underground roadways, declines, and working areas to ensure safe mining operations, with flexibility to support other tasks as needed.

• Current manual driver’s licence.
• RII competency in grader operations.
• Experience operating Caterpillar 140M graders or similar equipment.
• Experience maintaining haul roads, leveling road bases, and cutting drains.
• Previous underground grading experience within declines.
• Strong hazard awareness and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate graders to maintain underground roads, declines, drainage, and work areas.
• Carry out dust suppression activities using water trucks as required.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Identify and report equipment defects, hazards, and safety risks.
• Support production activities through clean-up, loading, and hauling tasks.
• Provide relief coverage across other operational roles where trained and competent.

What's the opportunity?

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Grader Operator to join our Production team at Ernest Henry Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining underground roadways, declines, and working areas to ensure safe and efficient mining operations. You will also support ancillary tasks and provide operational flexibility across the production team when required. This role will see you:

• Operate graders to maintain underground roads, declines, drainage, and work areas
• Carry out dust suppression activities using water trucks as required
• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic equipment maintenance
• Identify and report equipment defects, hazards, and safety risks
• Support production activities through clean-up, loading, and hauling tasks
• Provide relief coverage across other operational roles where trained and competent.

You are a skilled operator with underground mining experience and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. Ideally, you will also have:
