FAAA in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to manage an established client portfolio with no obligation to bring in new business. You will work in a very relaxed environment with early finishes on a Friday and a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in financial planning, a Business/Commerce degree, FASEA compliance, and strong client management skills. Exceptional service delivery and a focus on retention are essential.

COMPANY

This represents an incredible opportunity with a well established Financial Advisory firm based in Fortitude Valley. This firm has been in operation for 20+ years and have built an amazing portfolio of high net worth clients. The firm is well positioned for growth in the future. The firm truly believes in work life balance with limited overtime required.

ROLE

Due to growth, the position of Senior Financial Advisor has been created. This position will suit a candidate who has exceptional client relationship management skills. There will be an existing client base provided and extensive internal referrals provided. The average client has circa $1.3m FUM and an average fee of $8,000. There is no requirement to bring in new clients or conduct new business development.

CANDIDATE

• 6+ years experience in Financial Planning
• Degree in Business/Commerce + FASEA compliant
• Extensive experience with a wide variety of financial products
• Experience with direct investments, SMSFs, trusts, investment companies
• Strong working knowledge of Xplan
• A team player
• Exceptional client relationship management experience and outstanding ability to focus on retention
• Outstanding longevity and a stable employment history (non negotiable)
• Exceptional communication and presentation

BENEFITS

The successful candidate will remunerated with an above market salary package of up to $165k+ Super + Bonuses. Whilst there is no expectation to bring in new clients, bonuses are paid for any new clients introduced to the firm. There is strong earning potential on offer (OTE $200k +). This firm has a young and family friendly culture. The firm offers 1 day WFH and early finishes on a Friday. Long term progression to equity is on the cards.
