GP Pharmaceutical Territory Sales Specialist

Job summary

You should have at least 3 years of GP pharmaceutical sales experience, strong communication of clinical data, and the ability to meet and exceed targets. A valid driver’s licence and Australian PR or citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of GP sales experience within pharmaceutical or similar industry
• Ideally living near the advertised territory (Perth region and surrounding areas)
• Strong sales background with a proven track record of achieving targets
• Tertiary education, preferably Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Biomedical
• Ability to absorb complex clinical data and communicate clearly
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel regularly, including weekends
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Promote Novo Nordisk's portfolio to GPs and Pharmacists across Perth Central, Morley, Scarborough and Cottesloe
• Travel on country trips to Port Hedland and Karratha
• Engage with existing GPs and expand the target customer group across the territory
• Build patient-centric healthcare professional relationships
• Develop and execute a territory business plan using face-to-face and digital engagements
• Execute marketing strategies
• Conduct group presentations
• Monitor and report on competitor activity
• Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory colleagues
• Prospect new customers and drive results for new and existing products
• Promote products in person and virtually
• Report directly to the State Sales Manager
