Job summary

headspace Strathpine is seeking a professional GP to provide youth-friendly medical care for ages 12–25. You will contribute to holistic health, prevention, and early intervention within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

The role is part-time with flexible arrangements and access to mentoring, training, and a GP Community of Practice. You will work in a modern centre with admin support and bulk-billing discussions.

Qualifications

• Recognised medical degree and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility to obtain one), with commitment to bulk billing.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance (or willingness to obtain).
• Vocational Recognition with RACGP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, youth-friendly medical care for young people aged 12–25.
• Deliver evidence-based care with a focus on prevention and early intervention.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a Clinical Lead and psychiatrists.

Help young people thrive. Work with a passionate, multidisciplinary team at headspace Strathpine, providing holistic healthcare that supports the mental, physical, and social wellbeing of young people aged 12–25.

As a GP at headspace Strathpine, you’ll offer safe, low-stigma support to young people who may be hesitant to reach out. You’ll work closely with our Clinical Lead and a team of dedicated clinicians to deliver evidence-based care, with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and empowering young people to take charge of their health.

This is a contract role with the option to bulk bill through your own Medicare Provider Number. We’re happy to discuss flexible fee arrangements for indirect work and appointments not attended.
