Job summary

Barwon Health is seeking a General Practitioner to join its multidisciplinary general paediatric clinics (0-18 years) at the Early Parenting Centre, McKellar. The role supports inpatient care and an ICU-adjacent service, with clinics running Monday afternoons starting February 2027 in Geelong.

You will be part of a large paediatric team, working alongside paediatricians, registrars and allied health, delivering high-quality outpatient care and contributing to service development across Barwon

Qualifications

• Medical degree and eligibility for AHPRA registration.
• Fellowship FRACGP or equivalent required.
• Interest in paediatric outpatient care.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with paediatricians and allied health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient care in a general paediatric clinic within a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient- and family-centred care with informed decision-making.
• Contribute to clinical quality and safety through adherence to standards and improvements.
• Collaborate with team and participate in shared clinical responsibilities.
