Job summary

University of Notre Dame Australia is seeking a Senior Lecturer/Discipline Lead for GP Supervisors, CPD, and Curriculum Interface in the School of Medicine at the Sydney Darlinghurst campus. This part-time (0.2 FTE) role leads GP supervision and contributes to CPD and curriculum quality across the MD program.

The successful candidate will oversee supervisor recruitment, engagement, and alignment with accreditation standards, while fostering strong partnerships with GP practices and delivering

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead GP supervision and curriculum delivery.
• Experience in medical education and accreditation processes.
• Proven track record in teaching at Masters level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and retain GP placements to support high-quality student learning.
• Mentor GP Clinical Supervisors and build engagement in teaching activities.
• Coordinate supervisor development programs aligned with CPD and accreditation.
• Foster relationships with GP practices through regular engagement and site visits.
• Monitor teaching quality and support improvement and quality assurance processes.
• Contribute to curriculum delivery across Years 1–4 and related evaluation.
