The University of Notre Dame Australia is seeking a Senior Lecturer in the Public Health Domain for the Sydney Campus. The role supports the Doctor of Medicine program with a focus on population health, social determinants and environmental health, and requires collaboration with partners across health and community sectors.

The continuing, part-time 0.5 FTE position offers career development opportunities within a friendly, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Master of Public Health or equivalent post-graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Fellowship of a relevant professional body or PhD with teaching experience in health/public health.
• 5+ years teaching in a tertiary education context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Understanding of the Australian healthcare system and public health delivery.

Responsabilités

• Integrate Public Health learning across the MD program.
• Develop and deliver a contemporary Public Health curriculum and learning activities.
• Support recruitment, training, mentoring and coordination of tutors and sessional staff.
• Collaborate with clinical, academic and community partners to deliver teaching aligned with learning outcomes and community priorities.
• Coordinate immersive learning activities and intersectoral, interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Contribute to design, delivery and marking of student assessments in Public Health.
• Deliver high-quality teaching and promote public health education and student engagement.
• Contribute to evaluation, research and quality improvement in medical education and the Public Health Domain.
• Represent the Public Health Domain on committees and University initiatives as required.

Formation
