Job summary

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is seeking a part-time GP Lead for the Academic Post Cohort Support and Education Program. You will design, deliver and evaluate activities, manage educational content, and coordinate with GP educators, researchers and university supervisors.

You will deliver workshops and webinars, analyse learning needs, provide pastoral and cohort support, and foster collaboration across RACGP teams to advance general practice education.

Qualifications

• RACGP Fellowship and a PhD in general practice or primary care research.
• Strong experience and expertise in general practice research.
• Experience and high-level skills in medical education and/or teaching.
• Proven experience working with and supporting GP registrars.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging workshops, webinars and sessions for Academic Post registrars.
• Analyse learning needs and evaluation data to refine program activities.
• Provide targeted support to university supervisors and registrars, including pastoral support.
• Build relationships across RACGP research and education teams and promote the program.
