Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of our Federal Government client for an experienced Audit and Assurance Officer to join their Governance team in multiple locations across Australia, including Mildura VIC. This is a 12 month, full time labour hire contract.

This role supports governance, internal audits, risk management, and business continuity, coordinating with internal stakeholders and service providers to strengthen frameworks and performance across the organisation.

Qualificações

• Experience coordinating internal audit programs and assurance activities.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Knowledge of Australian Government audit, risk, and assurance principles.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate internal audits in line with the Annual Internal Audit Plan.
• Maintain audit recommendation registers and track implementation of actions.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and committee papers on audit, assurance and risk.
• Support business continuity planning and testing activities.
• Coordinate external reviews, assurance activities, and risk workshops.
• Manage relationships with internal audit service providers and stakeholders.
