Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) in Western Australia is seeking a Governance and Business Support Officer based in Kensington to support the CFO and senior management. The role involves financial administration, policy development and the implementation of guidelines.

You will assist the CFO, provide strategic advice and manage projects to drive governance improvements across a large state agency.

Qualifications

• Well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to prepare documents and reports, use technology and make effective presentations to senior management.
• Experience in interpreting legislation and developing policies and procedures.
• Experience in liaising and negotiating with internal and external clients on business processes.
• Ability to lead and implement change in the context of improving business practices.

Responsabilités

• Assists the CFO to achieve financial administration compliance through establishing, revising and implementing policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Provides advice to the CFO and other senior staff.
• Manages projects on behalf of the CFO.
