Job summary

Frankston City Council is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance Officer to support turf management and renovation activities at Centenary Park Golf Course. The role involves assisting the Turf Management team with maintenance tasks and operating turf-specific equipment.

The position is full-time, with rostered weekend overtime and intermittent weekday overtime around events. Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Turf Management and a Victorian Driver Licence, with MR Truck Licence and

Qualifications

• Certificate III or similar qualification in Turf Management related discipline.
• Experience maintaining turf in parks, sporting reserves, recreation areas or golf courses.
• Ability to use a variety of horticulture and turf management tools, plant and mechanical equipment.
• A current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Medium Rigid Truck Licence (manual transmission) and Front-End Loader / Tractor will be well regarded.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the maintenance of Centenary Park Golf Course through application of turf management, horticulture and renovation practices and the utilisation of turf specific plant and equipment; and
• Assisting the Turf Management team to undertake turf maintenance tasks at Centenary Park Golf Course.
