Canberra Highland Society and Burns Club – Holt ACT is seeking a qualified Golf Course Mechanic to join the Burns Golf Club Belconnen's course maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing the fleet of turf machinery to ensure premium course presentation and reliable operation.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, maintain service records, and support daily course preparation while adhering to OH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with OH&S standards.
• Drive best-practice golf course maintenance and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all golf course plant and equipment.
• Operate turf machines to ensure optimal performance and quality of cut.
• Procure parts and consumables to minimise downtime.
• Keep up-to-date service records and ensure OH&S compliance.
• Assist with daily course preparation and maintenance tasks.
