Job summary

Regis Resources is seeking an experienced Gold Room Operator to join our Duketon operations in Western Australia. The role involves safe and efficient operation of the Gold Room, including gravity and elution circuits, reporting to the Shift Supervisor, and working on an 8:6 FIFO roster.

You will collaborate with the Shift Supervisor and Operators to ensure daily tasks are completed, machine maintenance is carried out, and safety and data records are maintained accurately.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in the efficient operation of a gold room, including gravity and elution circuits.
• Demonstrated experience in operating a gold processing plant is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the workplace to identify and correct hazards and equipment failures
• Ensure that all plant equipment is regularly inspected and maintained
• Ensure that maintenance works requests are correctly entered into Pronto with clear description of work required
• Conduct safety checks and complete safety reports as required
• Entering all plant data and information accurately on relevant log sheets and entered into the database
• Maintain processing parameters as set by the Process Superintendent (regularly audited to ensure variance in parameters and rectify as required)
• Maintain regular contact with CIL and Mill Supervisors & Operators on shift
• Maintain regular contact and provide feedback to the Shift Supervisor and Superintendent with regards to Gold room, gravity and elution circuit
• Maintaining accurate records of sampling and quality control
• Isolating and permitting of plant for maintenance purposes

The opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Gold Room Operator to join our Duketon operations.
