Job summary

ISS is seeking a Full-Time Cleaner at Gold Coast Airport to maintain clean, safe, and professional public areas of the terminal, including restrooms and common spaces. Night shifts involve operating floor scrubbers and other cleaning machines, managing waste, and restocking amenities.

The role requires reliability, physical fitness, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced airport setting. Experience with scrubbers and buffers is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning operations; domestic, commercial or industrial.
• Can obtain an ASIC card (clean criminal background check)
• Can pass a Drug and Alcohol test
• Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
• Professional presentation and customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have own transport
• No work/hour restrictions

As a Full-Time Cleaner at Gold Coast Airport, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment across public areas of the terminal. Working night shifts, duties include cleaning passenger waiting areas, amenities, walkways, and high-traffic spaces using a range of commercial cleaning equipment and machinery.
The role involves operating floor scrubbers and other cleaning machines, managing waste disposal, restocking amenities, and ensuring all areas meet airport cleanliness and safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, physically fit, safety-focused, and able to work independently as part of a night shift team in a fast-paced airport environment.
