Job summary

Event Cinemas Castle Hill is seeking a Gold Class Kitchen Manager to lead the day-to-day kitchen operations behind our premium cinema dining experience. You’ll oversee meal preparation, quality, stock management and team development to ensure every dish leaving the pass meets our exacting standards.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on food safety, HACCP practices and consistent service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a professional kitchen in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Proven skills in kitchen operations, food preparation and quality control.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the Gold Class kitchen, ensuring meals are prepared, presented and served to standards.
• Champion food safety, hygiene and HACCP; maintain cleaning schedules and records.
• Coach, develop and recruit kitchen staff; set clear expectations and provide training.
• Manage stock ordering and inventory; monitor wastage and control costs.
• Support achievement of food cost and labour targets while maintaining quality.
