Thermo Fisher Scientific Australia is seeking an Inventory Controller to safeguard stock integrity in SAP, ensuring cGMP and GDP compliance. You will lead audits, investigate deviations, and support regulatory readiness across the facility.

The role covers cycle counts, put-away accuracy, and coordination of inbound/outbound activities while partnering with Finance, Procurement, and Production teams. A warehouse certification and forklift licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English with ability to write technical reports and SOPs.
• High attention to detail to spot trends in data and stock movement.
• Ability to interface with Procurement, Finance, and Production teams.

Responsabilités

• System Ownership: accurate administration of all material movements in SAP to cGMP standards.
• Audit Leadership: conduct cycle counts and reconcile stock to maintain high accuracy.
• Discrepancy Investigation: report deviations and support SOP/Work Instruction development.
• Put-Away Oversight: audit put-away tasks and ensure correct storage locations are recorded.
• Financial Reporting: assist End of Month/Year reporting and stock valuations.
• Inbound/Outbound: coordinate incoming/outbound goods and dock timing.
• Lead Goods Flow: optimize internal movements and lead upgrades in materials management.
• Stock Availability: identify material unavailability and inform stakeholders.
• Internal Support: coordinate material requests and maintain good relations with transport providers.
• Audit Preparation: prepare site for Regulatory and Internal Audits.
• GMP Standards: ensure storage and flow meet cGMP/GDP; coordinate warehouse cleaning and freezer calibrations.
• Equipment & Safety: perform daily warehouse checks and EH&S tasks for safety.
• Licensing Tasks: operate forklifts as required for stock movement.
• Participate in Practical Process Improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations.
• Contribute to special projects and teamwork initiatives.
