AngloGold Ashanti Australia is seeking a Principal, Mining Underground to join our Corporate Technical team. Based at the Perth, Denver or Johannesburg offices, the role will provide underground mine planning and scheduling expertise across a global portfolio and may require travel to diverse sites.

You will oversee technical input, study reviews, and process improvements across multiple assets, with a focus on Operational Excellence and safety.

Qualifications

• Underground mining operational and technical leadership experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert mining and mine planning support to assigned operations.
• Deliver technical input for mining components of studies and project reviews.
• Collaborate with business units in developing Integrated plans and coaching engineers.
• Assist operations globally in full asset potential processes to improve cost and performance.
• Develop and enhance mining planning systems for best-practice execution.
• Support and review Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve processes.
• Investigate business opportunities through mining technologies and oversee testing trials.
