Job summary

Computershare Australia is seeking a Treasury Financial Controller to own treasury accounting globally within the Global Financial Control team. The role involves ownership of treasury accounting outcomes, IFRS interpretation for financial instruments, and leading policy development and governance, across multiple jurisdictions.

You will lead accuracy in valuation, reporting and controls, collaborate with Treasury, Accounting and Finance teams, and support audits while shaping treasury

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury accounting and control within a large global organisation or financial services environment.
• Deep understanding of IFRS accounting standards for financial instruments and derivatives.
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory reporting and complex accounting assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage treasury accounting, valuation and reporting across FX, derivatives, portfolios and other treasury products.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to Treasury, Accounting and Finance teams ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Develop treasury accounting policies, controls, playbooks and position papers.
• Lead treasury accounting reporting, reconciliations, management reporting and audits.
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements and strategic projects to strengthen treasury accounting capabilities across the group.
