ResMed in Sydney is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Devices Systems team to support the global expansion of sleep therapy technology. You will translate user, clinical and regulatory needs into system requirements and work with cross-functional teams to adapt the product for international markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and systems thinking.
• Experience with requirements, interfaces, design documentation or verification.
• Strong analytical and methodical problem solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
• Interest in medical device regulations, quality systems and development processes.

Responsabilités

• Translate user, clinical, business and regulatory needs into clear system requirements.
• Develop and manage system requirements with traceability and documentation.
• Collaborate with software, electronics, mechanical, verification, clinical and regulatory teams.
• Assess regional requirements and adapt products for international releases.
• Evaluate system architecture and interfaces for reliability and performance.
• Investigate and resolve system-level technical issues across disciplines.
• Support system verification, test planning and results documentation.
• Participate in system risk management, hazard analyses and design reviews.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and design evidence for releases.
• Follow Systems Engineering processes and drive continuous improvement.
