Job summary

ResMed is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Devices Systems team in Sydney on a 12-month contract. You will help globalize a laboratory system for sleep apnea titration and collaborate across software, electronics, mechanical, verification, clinical and regulatory teams.

You will translate needs into system requirements, manage documentation, support verification and validation, conduct risk analyses and contribute to regulatory submissions to enable international product releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in systems engineering or product development.
• Interest in medical device regulations, quality systems and product development processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate user, clinical, business and regulatory needs into clear system requirements and technical solutions for global deployment.
• Develop and manage system requirements, documentation, and traceability throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software, electronics, mechanical, verification, clinical and regulatory teams to support product changes.
• Assess regional and market-specific requirements for international releases.
• Support system verification, validation, risk management and regulatory activities.
