Job summary

Elanco is seeking an Advisor, International Sustainability to spearhead carbon program design and commercial scaling across international markets. You will lead analyses of Scope 3 emissions, align with global strategies, and oversee deployment of the UpLook platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role is based in Australia with hybrid work, travel up to 30%, and a focus on delivering credible sustainability outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability, agribusiness, or marketing within the animal health or livestock sector
• Top Skills: Deep expertise in carbon markets and GHG accounting (Scope 3), with a track record of leading multi-year launches

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of carbon programs for international markets, ensuring alignment with global sustainability strategies and operational requirements.
• Serve as the primary expert on GHG Protocol, Science Based Targets, and reporting frameworks for robust program design.
• Oversee localization and deployment of the UpLook platform, reflecting regional production systems and producer needs.
• Partner with global food chain account leaders to support commercialization pathways and provide technical expertise.
• Manage program-level risk and collaborate with Legal and Operations to develop necessary documentation and contracts.
