Qualifications

• Experience providing student support, administration, customer service, or related services in a complex environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Sound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive or confidential matters appropriately.
• Experience coordinating events, programs, or engagement activities.
• Confidence using enterprise systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, student‑centred services.
• Experience supporting international students will be highly regarded.
• Relevant qualifications and/or an equivalent combination of experience and expertise.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa that enables the requirements of the role to be fulfilled.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for international students at AMC.
• Support student onboarding, orientation, enrolment processes, and administrative activities.
• Assist students in accessing academic, wellbeing, advising, and support services across the University.
• Build positive relationships with students and contribute to an inclusive and supportive campus environment.
• Coordinate and deliver student engagement activities that encourage participation, connection, and belonging.
• Liaise with academic staff, professional teams, and external stakeholders to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and data collection activities.
• Support initiatives that improve student satisfaction, retention, and the overall student experience.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of student support processes and services.
• Ensure compliance with University and regulatory requirements.
