Job summary

Novotech seeks a Group Statutory Reporting Manager to lead statutory reporting, group consolidation, and audit in a global setting. You will partner with the Group Financial Controller and report to senior finance leadership while driving policy development and control enhancements.

The role requires extensive IFRS expertise, Big Four experience, and a track record in managing audits and complex financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting background with broad responsibility for statutory reporting and group audits.
• Experience preparing IFRS-compliant general purpose financial statements and technical accounting papers.
• Experience leading statutory reporting in a global organisation with multi-jurisdiction scope.
• Ability to manage relationships with external auditors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Function as a trusted partner to the Group Financial Controller, supporting IPO readiness and best-practice controllership for listed environments.
• Lead the Group statutory audit process and facilitate timely completion and resolution of audit findings.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and finance stakeholders across jurisdictions.
• Oversee statutory filing calendars and lodgments across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and assess impacts on policies and disclosures.
• Develop accounting policies and technical accounting papers to strengthen control and compliance.
• Drive process improvement, standardization and automation in statutory reporting and audit.
• Prepare Audit and Risk Committee and Board papers on financial reporting and control observations.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and remediate risks in the financial control environment.
• Own statutory reporting packs, account mapping, and consolidation of financial statements.
