DLF Seeds seeks an International Seed Sales Manager to lead export-focused sales across established international markets. The role involves pricing, contract negotiation, forecasting and coordination with Production, Supply Chain and Sales teams to deliver reliable outcomes.

The position is based in Truganina, Melbourne, with global travel expected as required and a permanent full-time arrangement. You will develop relationships with international customers and contribute to sales growth.

Qualifications

• Qualification in agriculture, agribusiness, commerce or related field preferred.
• Early experience in commodity trading, agricultural sales, export coordination or related role.
• Interest in international trade and agricultural markets.
• Ability to work with pricing, contracts and commercial information.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; relationship building.

DLF Seeds is seeking a commercially minded

International Seed Sales Manager to create, direct and manage seed sales across our established international markets.

This opportunity would suit someone with experience in a junior trading, commodity merchandising, agricultural sales or export coordination role who is ready to take on greater ownership of customers, contracts and commercial outcomes.

You will work with established international customers while developing your capability across commodity pricing, contract negotiation, forecasting, inventory management and export trade. You will collaborate closely with our Production, Sales, Supply Chain and International teams to deliver reliable outcomes for our customers and the business.

What You’ll Do

• Manage relationships with established international customers, brokers and suppliers.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate sales and purchase contracts within agreed guidelines.
• Coordinate customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
• Monitor seed availability, commodity pricing, market conditions and customer demand.
• Contribute to sales budgets, forecasts, inventory planning and reporting.
• Work with Production, Export & Supply Chain to align customer requirements with available supply.
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing and contract information.
• Share customer feedback and market insights across the business.
• Support customer visits, trade shows and other international sales activities.

What You’ll Bring

• A qualification in agriculture, agribusiness, commerce or a related field would be beneficial.
• Early experience in commodity trading, agricultural sales, export coordination or a related commercially focused role.
• An interest in and knowledge of international trade and agricultural markets.
• Confidence working with pricing, contracts and commercial information.
• Clear and professional communication skills and excellent organisational skills .
• The ability to build trusted relationships with customers and colleagues.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to share information and involve others.
• Confidence using Excel, planning tools and business systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
