Job summary

HelloFresh seeks an International Category Manager to lead and execute the protein category strategy across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Chippendale, Sydney or Penrose, Auckland, you will steer high-value supplier negotiations and cross-functional collaboration to deliver cost efficiency and resilient supply.

You will build strategy, analyze markets, manage senior stakeholder relations, and drive innovative sourcing across the ANZ region with a focus on long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strategic procurement, supply chain, or category management experience in FMCG/food/consumer goods.
• Proven experience leading complex supplier negotiations and managing high-value relationships.
• Track record of developing and executing category strategies with measurable commercial outcomes.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including advanced Excel and large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the category strategy and multi-year sourcing roadmaps.
• Lead market analysis, reviews, and risk/opportunity assessments.
• Escalate and resolve category issues with autonomy and sound judgment.
• Negotiate with suppliers for long-term value creation and favorable terms.
• Develop and manage a high-performing supplier network across NZ.
• Maintain strategic partnerships and drive collaborative innovation.
• Oversee cost reporting, tendering, invoice validation, and compliance.
• Influence senior stakeholders across the business.
