Job summary

Minetek is seeking a People Culture Lead to drive onboarding, induction, and ongoing employee support for a global workforce from its North Sydney base. You will partner with managers to tailor onboarding and lead aftercare, development, and retention activities.

The role emphasizes culture-building, stakeholder collaboration, and delivering professional HR support across the employee lifecycle. This is a permanent full-time position based in North Sydney.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a generalist People & Culture role.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and support compliance documentation.
• Commitment to candidate and employee confidentiality.
• Willingness to take initiative and engage with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination, and delivery of onboarding and induction programs (in‑person and virtual) for new starters.
• Partner with hiring managers to create tailored onboarding experiences.
• Support new employees with culture, organisational structure, reporting lines, working schedules, tools, systems, and compliance guidance.
• Lead the new starter aftercare program with regular check‑ins and feedback collection.
• Oversee recruitment administration and onboarding timelines to ensure smooth transitions from offer to start date.
• Lead performance management processes and related employee communications.
• Oversee offboarding processes including exit interviews and knowledge transfer.
• Drive broader cultural initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Lead talent development programs and employee growth opportunities.
• Provide generalist HR support and policy coordination.
