Job summary

APM is seeking a seasoned People Business Intelligence Analyst to join our People Analytics team. You’ll design and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models, build scalable data structures, and deliver insights to support workforce planning and business decisions across a global organisation.

You’ll collaborate with People & Culture, Digital, and stakeholders to improve reporting, ensure data quality, and drive data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Data Analytics, BI, Reporting, or Data Development
• Strong Power BI capability with DAX, modelling, and semantic models
• Experience with ETL, SQL, and data warehousing
• Advanced Power Query and Excel skills across large datasets
• Experience designing intuitive dashboards and translating requirements into reports
• Strong data visualisation and ability to present insights clearly
• Proven stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
• Focus on data quality, governance, and continuous improvement
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Desirable: People Analytics, HR reporting, or Workforce insights

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain P&C Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations
• Identify data gaps and collaborate with Digital to create fit-for-purpose data models
• Build and maintain ETL processes and people data warehouse architecture
• Develop automation to enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual work
• Support interpretation of data and reporting requirements for P&C and business
• Maintain data quality, governance, security, and reporting standards
• Assist with user acceptance testing, report validation, and ongoing enhancements
• Contribute to data-informed decision making across a global organisation
